GLITCH first premiered in Hungary on February 12, 2024, and then was released on Amazon Prime Video on May 16, 2025, and then was released on MAP+ on July 1.
The series is set in the year 3071, on Copper 9, an exoplanet owned by the megacorporation "JCJenson: IN SPACE!", most commonly referred to as JCJenson (a parody of S.C. Johnson). Worker drones, autonomous robots designed to serve humans, populate the planet and mine for natural resources. Eventually, the planet suffers a catastrophic nuclear meltdown caused by the corporation's employees, destroying all biological life on the planet, including humans. As a result, the planet becomes a frozen wasteland, with only the worker drones surviving. One day, three violent killing machines called Dismantling Drones (also known as "killer drones") attack Copper 9 to exterminate the remaining worker drones. The worker drones live in constant fear of the dismantling drones, and have taken refuge in a fortress of three gates to protect themselves.
The series' protagonist is Gate Uzi, a teenage worker drone who dreams of escaping Copper 9. Over the course of his adventures, he forms an unlikely partnership with two killer drones: N, a male drone who is friendly and curious about the worker drones, and V, a sadistic female drone who is deliberately elusive in her history with N. After he rebels against them, Uzi and N kill J and take V hostage. After a "truce" with V, the three work to uncover the truth about their origins and purpose in the harsh environment of the planet. Along the way, they encounter several important people, including Doll, a Russian worker drone with a desire for revenge against V; Tessa, a human employee of JC Jenson; and Cyn, a drone who serves as a host for the reality-altering entity known as the Absolute Formula. Both Uzi and Doll (along with their experimented mother) are hosts of the Absolute Formula.
