Gumball's hometown, Elmore, is a quiet little town, home to peaceful people, such as the cactus tending the lawn or the furry slug rushing to work. And of course, the main characters of the story, the Wattersons, also live here: Anais, the four-year-old genius who no one ever listens to, Richard, the father who is not a hero at work, in contrast to Nicole, the mother who works at the Rainbow Factory, and Darwin, the goldfish who has become a pillar of the family since he grew legs. The title character of the series is Gumball, the little blue cat, and he lives the everyday life of a cheerful twelve-year-old child. His impulsiveness is combined with boundless optimism, which is why there is almost constant chaos around him.
